The building comprises four floors, constructed of ashlar stone, topped with a molded cornice, a hipped roof (with four sloping sides), adorned with two pinnacles (one at each corner), square windows, and a main entrance in the form of a semicircular arch.

Originally, it was the residence of an old noble family of the region, and thus the building features a coat of arms on the main façade, which is now recognized as a national monument.

On the south side of the building, during the 19th century, a house with a continuous balcony, in the purest mountain style traditional to the area, was added; this house has been inhabited recently.

A stately building, part of the architectural heritage of the Toranzo Valley, with a history that is evident throughout the property. Today, La Torre de La Sierra, also known as La Torre de Iruz, operates as an inn with a professional kitchen, bar-restaurant, and all modern amenities.

The tower has been recently restored stone by stone to preserve its original character, while also being updated with improvements such as solar panels, a propane gas tank, and air conditioning (heating and cooling) in all rooms.
